Here is a snapshot of our mission and journey: Our Foundation: Established on September 7, 1989, as a Regional Science Centre and upgraded to a full-fledged Science City on September 21, 2007.
Core Objectives:
- To popularize Science among the general public and students, promoting scientific literacy.
- To inculcate Scientific Awareness and a Scientific Temper in society.
- To support formal school and college education through teacher training and innovative programmes.
- To display the progress and achievements in Science & Technology.
- To preserve India’s rich Science & Technology heritage.
Our Pedagogy: We believe in “Learning to Do” and “Learning Through Fun” to make science engaging and memorable.

- A vibrant hub for over three decades, we have welcomed millions of visitors.
- We engage over 4.5 lakh visitors annually.
- Our Mobile Science Exhibition extends our reach to remote districts of Uttar Pradesh.
