Fun Science
The gallery houses exhibits based on various scientific principles and as the name suggest have a fun component. Apart from several interactive exhibits, it also shelters an indigenously designed interesting model called ?Aqua-Mobile? which, through flowing water, demonstrates the principles of hydrostatics and hydrodynamics. The water, passing through different transparent pipes and channels, rotates turbine wheels, creates vortex, sets in siphon action, fountains and performs like a virtuoso acrobat in a circus. In the process, it takes myriad shapes.
Another exhibit, a string-less piano, which produces sound when a hand is waved in air casts magic on the visitors. Also see how a straight rod easily passes through a curved and twisted hyperbolic path. Get into a kaleidoscope and count your images. See an infinite tunnel of glowing bulbs in the limited space of the hall. See how an illusion makes one?s head kept on a platter.
